Happy Q Week!

Firstly, I guess I owe everyone an apology for falling off the wagon. I've been chastised on several occasions for not having blogged the whole month of January! It's been a pretty crazy month at our house... ear infections, the stomach bug, a fall in the bathtub for Catherine where she busted her lip, gave herself a black eye and took a few years off my life. These things compounded with a lot of work for me and no batteries for the camera equaled no blogging. I'm very sorry and promise to be better. Believe me when I say, you didn't miss much.

Onto brighter days! 

The long awaited Q Week has arrived!! Jack has had this week circled all school year long. (Well, really since C week when he experienced the week-long bliss of being the leader at school.) He definitely had a spring in his step this morning when I dropped him off. Wednesday we have to bring a special Q snack. Sheesh. I'm glad I had time to ponder this because

 Chocolate Chip Cookies was without a doubt easier to come up with than anything that starts with Q. (Cheese Quesadillas and Question Mark Cookies is what we came up with in case you are curious).

Catherine is a tiny little string bean right now weighing in at only 20 lbs. If you could see her eat, you would not believe that she only weighs this much. Let's all hope that she has this same metabolism for the rest of her life! She is a busy little girl. Not walking yet, but cruising and gaining confidence. Talking, playing hard and NOT sleeping pretty much sums up our girl. Hard to believe she'll be a year old by month's end.
