Fun Weekend

What a beautiful and fun weekend! Saturday we met our friends, the Petrys, at Ross Bridge for a Wine/Beer tasting and Arts Festival. It was a great day to be outside. Jack had fun on the inflatable slide "How about 5 more times, Mommy? Deal? Or No Deal?" Catherine generally has a good time watching whatever Jack is doing. Here she is completely turned around in her stroller so she can talk to him!

Then, Saturday night we went to Boo at the Zoo. Jack is Super Mario for Halloween this year, and Catherine is his little Mushroom sidekick. He got very excited when all the thirty-something parents and the grandparents parents commented on his costume. "I guess being Mario really is awesome." haha :) We went on a spooky Hayride and did a little trick-or-treating at the zoo. Forgive the ghetto mustache. He wouldn't wear his one we got for him so Christopher just colored one on really fast with the only non-sharpie thing we had in the car.

This morning, we all went to church, then to lunch at Irondale Cafe (think Fried Green Tomatoes...it's the place which Fannie Flagg based her book), took a little Sunday Drive, picked out a pumpkin, then resting up a bit for the Bluegrass/BBQ and Fall festival tonight at church. I tried to take some cute pics of the kids by the pumpkins, but Man! Hard to get a good one of both kids!
