Or AKA... Acute Respiratory Infection. Ugh! I wish we had a Christmas do-over, but oh well. It was one for the memory books to be sure! Catherine got super sick the week of Christmas, and IT STUNK! We ended up cutting our trip to Jackson short to come back home to see our pediatrician on Christmas Eve. They said she had a double ear infection. She perked up enough for the Christmas Eve service at church where Jack was a sheep in the Christmas Pagent. But Christmas morning, she was running a high fever again, wouldn't eat or drink and just plain lethargic. We decided to head back to the doctor on Friday, and then they sent us to Children's Hospital! Catherine and I stayed for two nights. They gave her an IV for fluids and some antibiotics for her infections. Thank goodness Chris's mom was here! I don't know what we would have done! Pretty soon Catherine was back to her old self....jumping in her crib, waving to her nurses, and thinking she and her Mama were at some supercool, girls-only Spend-the-Night party. She even got a visit from the Rutgers Football team who were visiting while in town for the Papa John's Bowl (Yeah! Rutgers won!) As soon as she was home, she broke into Chris's York peppermint patties. Our girl was back in action, just the way we like it!

A Jack in sheep's clothing.

Singing "Away in a Manger"...Jack hid behind the donkey. :P

He looks a little bit like Ralphie in the bunny pajamas, doesn't he?

Asleep in the middle of present opening!

Half-heartedly playing with toys Santa brought.
Back to her Old Self!
